I dreamt I died last night
I drove around a mud puddle
But failed to see a larger one into which
I sank, the car sank, the muddy mass closed
Over my head and I thought This is It
This is how I go out
I woke, calm.
Earlier that day I had driven around a big mud puddle
With no issue
I also told my son in no uncertain terms that
If I were to leave this earth tomorrow, I would die
Happy, having lived a full very rich life
And he shared that he and his wife exchanged those exact words recently.
Good I said.
